Meet our #CAPSULEmuse Viktorija – international art project curator. She talks about her new priorities in life and discovering the slow way of life in the fores.

I did not appear in the forest by chance. After we had children, I started looking for ways to work, but also to be with them. I realized that working by the computer, in the office and in meetings really does not suit me, in any way. A weekend with my children is not enough for me.

In the union of water and fire and nature, it is very easy to rest, heal, love, give thanks and feel the fullness of life.

My style could be described as 'comfortable and simple', because comfort comes first for me. I choose new clothes extremely rarely, I wear the same ones that have been tested and fit me for many years. I wear only natural fabrics: cotton, linen, wool... I like to knit the torn ones, I wear wool sweaters up to the holes, which I keep making up and continue to wear. I really enjoy buying used clothes, vintage, which delights with high-quality fabrics and silhouettes. and besides, I'm not too worried about a stain or a hole that won't wash out or a button that has fallen out, which I still don't find time to sew :) I usually enjoy free-flowing clothes that don't restrict me. In the dark period of the year, I naturally wear darker shades, when it's warm - lighter.

I like to get up early in the forest. As soon as I get up, I definitely go outside, barefoot, even in winter. I take a walk around, take a bath in the stream, look at the sun {when it's there}. And I always think wow, how beautiful, how good it is here.
