I’m Vaida Ivaniukaitė – a family educator and the founder of the educational platform Y TĖVAI. For more than fifteen years, my professional world has revolved, in one way or another, around children, parents and education – from working in kindergartens and schools to delivering training for parents and companies, as well as developing digital educational programmes.
Modern families don’t need even more rules and guilt, but more knowledge that helps them make their own decisions.
What interests me most is not telling parents how to raise their children “correctly”, but helping them understand what is happening within their family and why. I believe modern families don’t need even more rules and guilt, but more knowledge that helps them make their own decisions.
In recent years, I’ve also become increasingly interested in the future of education itself – how parenting, learning, digital products and technology are changing. Perhaps that’s why my own work keeps evolving alongside me: from teacher to educator, from content creator to the creator of my own educational business.
Almost everything ends up in my notebook. It’s where ideas for training sessions, sentences for future texts, business ideas, to-do lists and thoughts I’m afraid of losing first take shape. Sometimes I open it and can no longer understand how children’s emotions, artificial intelligence, an idea for a new product and a travel plan could all end up on the same page.
