Diving into the world of business
2025-07-07

Meet #CAPSULEmuse Aušrinė, a woman who pauses the moment in the rush of everyday life.

At this point in my life, I feel a strong desire to simply pause. To pause in the moment — whether I’m driving or working. It’s like wanting to press a little “pause” button and ask myself: Where am I today? Where am I now?

Silence has become increasingly important in my day. And it doesn’t matter what I’m doing — if I feel the need to just be still, I allow myself that. Sometimes it’s right after dropping the kids off at school — I come home and spend half an hour just being. If I don’t have to rush into the day, that time feels like a small gift to myself.

That silence - even something as simple as changing clothes — can shift my entire state. I used to carry a belief, likely shaped by my upbringing, that if a woman truly wants to succeed in her career, she has to work endlessly. The extremes were clear: either work or family. Being with children seemed incompatible with career success. I knew that feeling well — almost like an obsession: that in this life, if I choose family, I won’t achieve anything professionally.

But today, I see it differently. To me, a woman in business means being herself — not trying to become a man. On the contrary, it means openness, sensitivity, and staying in touch with emotion. Ego has its place, but it’s not everything. Nature made us different — there are men and there are women. And through that sensitivity, intuition, and ability to be herself, a woman can create beautiful things. Sometimes even more than if she tried to become a male version of success.
